After you fill out and send in the membership form with the membership dues, the playgroup coordinator will contact you and place you and your child into a playgroup.
We have board meetings the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm which are rotated between board members' homes. Members of the Board get together to discuss and plan the Club's activities for the upcoming month, plan future events, listen to monthly reports given by coordinators of each area of the Club, and consider any new business brought before the Board. Any Club member who would like to find out how decisions are made and in general what is discussed at these meetings is welcome to attend.
Moms' Day Out is part of the Babysitting Co-op. It is when several moms (4 or 5) drop off their kids at someone's house and 2-3 moms stay to baby-sit. Traditionally, we've done it from 9-1 and feed the kids lunch so when mom picks them up they are ready to nap or whatever! It is very popular for those hectic holiday shopping days or if you just need a few hours to soak in the tub!
The Annual Meeting is usually held the first Wednesday of February. A new board and coordinators are voted in, bylaws are amended and our charity is selected for the year.
