The purpose of the Special Event Meeting is purely social and informative.  We try to book a speaker to present a topic of interest to our membership (usually a parenting topic).  The presentation is then followed by social time where members can continue the discussion or just relax, chat and get to know other members in a relaxed atmoshpere.
